Promotion Sunday: On August 2nd we will have a special Sunday to honor and welcome officially our incoming 6th graders as they move up on into another grade and group without the ministry of our church. Our 6th graders have been hanging with Mosaic Students all summer, but this Sunday is our time to gift them a new student study Bible and some welcome notes from myself and our pastors.
What I am asking of parents of incoming 6th graders is to write out a note that I could include with these others that would encourage them as they enter into their adolescent years, a new season in the life of our church, and continue to develop the spiritual muscles in following Christ and obeying His Word.
**I will consolidate these all together and deliver them with a new Bible on August 2nd.
**Please email me your notes by July 24th.
We will meet down in the basement for a breakfast and fellowship time at 9 AM. In service, there will be a special time to recognize our kids and students as they move into another school year. I hope you will join us. Register your whole family if they are planning on being at the breakfast.
To help with the overall cost of food and Bibles, it will be $10 per student to participate.
