Each summer our students walk through our Forge class curriculum.

Starting this year, we want to connect a handful of adult leaders who have recently completed the year long adult Forge program with students who are slowly moving through this series by forming small discipleship groups.

These discipleship groups will serve as reading and discussion groups that will complement and encourage the teaching and discipleship students receive throughout the summer months.

These will be guy and girl groups, with a small handful of students with one or two adults to facilitate and lead the conversations. These will be informal hangouts that could take place whenever and however a group would want. We'd love for groups to meet somewhere between 3-6 times throughout June and July. The two books are short, so just a handful of meetings would be ideal.

The adult Forge class at Mosaic has participants reading a number of books, but the two we will put forward to students to read will be either Delighting in the Trinity (Reeves) or The True Story of the Whole World (Bartholomew/Goheen).

Look these books up and see which of these stands out, and then sign up.

Students would purchase the book, spend time reading, and then meet at various points to discuss and digest it. Nothing fancy, but a way to enhance the normal Forge teaching students will receive in the summer and create more discipleship relationships within our church.

After you sign up, we will form groups and reach out for next steps.

Reach out to Jonathan (jonathan@mosaicrichardson.com) with any questions.
