Christmas in Perelandra: A Reading Adventure for Students & Parents
This Christmas season, we hope some students can take a break from the ordinary stuff of school assignments and step into a fictional and extraordinary world of Perelandrawith their parents.
This is a 4-week reading journey through C.S. Lewis’ imaginative work called Perelandra, a novel about a pre-fallen world. This is a fictional book where oceans shine like jewels, good and evil battle in the deep heavens, and truth and wonder collide. This book is the second in a trilogy, but it reads well as a stand alone! It's one of my absolute favorite books as it connects the Bible's story with our own!
We are inviting students and parents to spend a few weeks meeting on Sundays to debrief and discuss a lesser known of Lewis' books.
Whether you love reading or prefer listening to audiobooks, this is a perfect way to spend your holiday break growing your imagination and faith together as a family.
We will meet from 9-9:50AM upstairs in Rooms 256/257 on the following dates:
Get your own copy of the book and dive into this world of science fiction with us this Christmas!
