This Sunday is Palm Sunday - the beginning of Holy Week. We will walk alongside Jesus as he enters triumphantly into Jerusalem.
As Jesus enters into the holy city, we enter into a week that is full of opportunities to remember and proclaim the story of Jesus. Holy Week is full - on purpose. It’s not accidental.
On Thursday evening, we will gather where we worship for our Maundy Thursday service at 6:30PM. This service is a powerful opportunity to step into the upper room, to see our Savior and Lord kneel to wash the feet of His disciples, to be washed ourselves.
On Friday evening, we will gather for our Good Friday service at 6:30PM. To fix our eyes upon the cross, grieve our sin and its cost, and give thanks for God’s atoning work in Christ Jesus.
And then on Easter Sunday, we will proclaim that “He is risen!” We have two services on Easter Sunday: 9AM and 10:45AM. We are encouraging you to invite your family, friends, and neighbors as we proclaim the good news of Jesus!
Why have we “filled up” Holy Week? Because we want you to be busy? Because we are bored?
No - Holy Week is full of opportunities to look towards what Christ has done because Christ has done great things! Holy Week is how the world is supposed to work, it’s a paradigm for what our calendar should look like, seizing every opportunity to gaze upon the great works of God and give thanks.
Make plans to join us for these services. Don’t miss a chance to look towards Jesus.
