Church family,This Sunday we will finish up our sermon series revisiting our vision and mission. Our vision has remained unchanged since Mosaic launched 8 years ago: To see the gospel and its fruits cover every square inch of Richardson. This vision of covering is inspired by the words of the prophet Habakkuk above, describing the reality of the presence of God’s glory in the world that is to come.
But how do we see such an ambitious vision come true? One sentence we have reiterated over the years answers this question: We will know that our vision has been accomplished when it is the ordinary experience of every person in Richardson to have a daily encounter with the good news of Jesus.
I don’t know when that day will come. But I do know that it will. And I know that, if we are to see everyone in our city encounter the gospel daily, it will begin with us sharing it with at least someone each day.
That’s why we have another evangelism night scheduled for this Sunday, 4–5pm, at Terrace Park. So that some people in our community will encounter the gospel. And so that, more and more, our habit might become to encounter others with the gospel each day.
