I was born and raised in Abilene, TX and came to love and trust Jesus while attending Vacation Bible School at my home church. I grew up very involved in all the activities my church hosted and have some of the most formative memories found within those walls, amongst God’s people. I made my way to the metroplex in 2006 to attend Dallas Baptist University where I found a deep appreciation for the Bible and what it means to lead by serving. Upon graduating, I met my husband while volunteering for Younglife Capernaum where ironically we discovered we were both attending the Village Church Northway. We got married in 2015 and have lived in Richardson since then, give or take a few months. We have three sons - Jake, Clay & Matt - the latter two are twins - and I so adore being a boy mom.
We have been members of Mosaic since its launch in 2018 and have had the joy to lead, serve and participate in various capacities based on the season of life we are in. I’ve felt the most wonderful sense of belonging serving in Mosaic Kids Elementary and count it as such a grace to see young hearts come to love and trust Jesus. There is no greater joy for our household than receiving news that we have a new brother or sister in Christ! Professionally, I’ve taught, assisted, tutored, nannied, baked and marketed, yet the seasons that lent me space to work with kids were the most life-giving and fruitful. My hope and prayer is that every person in our communities would hear, understand and receive the wonderful news of the Gospel and choose to follow hard after Jesus’ example and calling. May where we live and learn, work and worship, connect and care be marked by an outpouring of gratitude and love to share the greatest story of all time.
