I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas and moved to Oregon for college (Sco Ducks!). I finished my undergrad in Durango, Colorado, where I married the love of my life, Shanelle, and had our first kid, Sawyer Abel. I’m currently working on a Master of Divinity at Midwestern Seminary.
I did not grow up as a Christian. I came to know the Lord in the Summer of 2012 at The Village Church in Flower Mound. With immeasurable grace and unsearchable kindness, the Lord drew me near and opened my eyes to see him. He convinced me of himself and the work of his Son on the cross on my behalf. Now, by the power of the Holy Spirit, he is making me new every day, and I praise him for his faithful patience.
I love my family, the church, and the outdoors. I really like the Oregon Ducks, Texas professional sports, climbing, backpacking, craft coffee, good food, and ice cream. Also, I am secretly a nerd that loves reading and other nerdy things. But I am trying to keep that on the down low, so don't tell anyone.
My hope for Mosaic is that we would be a people who humbly adore our great God, constantly reflect on the finished work of Christ, and—through the power of the Holy Spirit—love, serve, and care for Richardson.
