A Family Closer Than Family

We are a family of disciple makers passionate about heralding the gospel in Richardson. From the people to the parks to the businesses to the schools, we love our beautiful and diverse city. Yet our heart is broken to see a greater gospel presence here. It’s not that Richardson needs more church buildings. The people of this city are desperate for a place to belong. They are looking for a family. We believe God is calling us to rally together in Richardson to be this family.

A Strategy to Reach the City of Richardson

We love Richardson. We love its people, its parks, its businesses, its watering holes and its schools. We are a city of incredible religious, economic, and linguistic diversity, but as we have learned this city, our heart has been broken to see a greater gospel presence here.

The neighbors we have met, the parks we bring our daughter to play in, and the restaurants and shops we frequent are full of men and women, boys and girls, who need to hear the good news of Christ. As C.S. Lewis said, “There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal.”

We believe Richardson is on the brink of revival. And while there are many churches who have a “footprint” in our city, what Richardson needs is a church that is heralding the gospel of Christ in the city for the city.

The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for the numerical growth of the body of Christ in any city, and the continual corporal renewal and revival of existing church in a city.
— Tim Keller

Neighborhoods will be the primary place men, women and families of Mosaic experience meaningful community and practice the “one anothers” of Scripture together.

At Mosaic, we will look to form groups of believers across our city who are committed to living as a gospel-centered family of disciple makers in their neighborhoods.

For Richardson, In Richardson

The Marshall Family

We are so excited to be a part of God advancing His Kingdom in Richardson. We've seen the local body of believers starting to be pulled together to build one another up and encourage each other to go into our neighborhoods with the gospel.

Emily Furlong

It’s incredible to think about how God ordains each and every interaction we have with neighbors, cashiers, baristas, fellow students, etc. I’m eager to see how He uses these daily interactions for His glory and to grow Mosaic Church as we seek to be mission minded and build relationships with those in our immediate communities!

The Hembree Family

We have been greatly encouraged by the people of Mosaic Church - specifically their servant hearts, faithfulness in prayer, love for the Word, and burden for the surrounding community. We are excited to gather together with these brothers and sisters to corporately worship our God.

The Mann Family

We are excited to help be culture cultivators at Mosaic as we think of creative ways to include people with disabilities and their families in our church as well as serve foster families, adoptive families and many different types of people who need the hope, peace and love that only the Gospel can provide.
